2025 Pave Maine Awards

MAPA’s Pave Maine Awards recognizes exemplary quality asphalt pavements. All pavements — roads, highways, commercial parking lots — are eligible for a Pave Maine Award.
Eligibility and Guidelines:
The Maine Asphalt Pave Maine awards are open to all Maine asphalt producers and all Maine contractors who are current members of MAPA.
Entries will be based on project tonnage. There are 4 categories to choose from;
0-500
501-2,500
2,501-9,999
10,000- and above
Projects submitted must be substantially complete and open to traffic (meaning that there may still be work to be done, such as striping, guard rails, landscaping etc.) at time of submission. Only Maine projects are eligible.

Maine Asphalt Pavement Association 2024 Scholarship Application
The Maine Asphalt Pavement Association scholarship awards have typically been between $500.00 and $2,500 per recipient and are dependent on both the availability of funds and the pool of applicants in any given year. These scholarships are intended to assist the student with the cost of tuition and are to be used solely for this purpose and will be made out directly to the school.
The Maine Asphalt Pavement Association Scholarship Program is eligible for students who meet the following criteria:
1. Enrolled in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s majoring in construction management, civil engineering or any other Industry program OR Enrolled in a technical/vocational school in a supporting Industry program. 2. Connection to the Industry directly through a family member who’s company is a member of the Maine Asphalt Pavement Association (https://maine-apa.org/members). 3. Maine residency or graduate of Maine high school. 4. Intent to live and work in Maine upon graduation.
Applications may be submitted emailed or mailed to Maine Asphalt Pavement Association, postmarked no later than July 5, 2024. We realize that there is limited space on this application form and encourage applicants to attach additional pages to complete the application. Please mark any spaces not applicable to you with N/A.
